Dislocation of Shoulder Joint

As the most mobile joint in the body, the shoulder joint is inherently unstable which makes it susceptible to dislocation. Dislocations are often caused by a direct blow to, or fall on, an outstretched arm. Common symptoms include: significant pain along the arm, inability to move the arm from its current position, numbness of the arm, and the shoulder is visibly displaced.

Potential Settlement Value

In 2003, the Court in Ernst v Quinonez, 2003 CanLII 20579 (ON SC) awarded the injured party $25,000 for injuries that included a dislocated shoulder.
